David Batani is a high performing sales professional with 20+ years experiences. He started his career at Valeant Canada and was quickly recognised as a top performer winning several awards such as highest sales growth, national leadership award and salesperson of the year. Mr Batani was promoted to portfolio manager in dermatology and increased revenue of a mature portfolio of products from $50m to $60m in less than 15 months. In 2014, with a passion for alternative medical treatments, and as the legislation around medical cannabis was changing, Mr Batani joined Mettrum Health Corporation as head of medical sales in Quebec. In 2017 Mettrum was acquired by Canopy Growth Corporation. Over the past decade, Mr Batani has positioned Canopy Growth as the uncontested market leader in medical cannabis in the Province of Quebec. Since 2018, Mr Batani has made several investments in private and public companies. In 2018 he invested in Go Instore, a UK based tech company, and became an adviser to the board and to the CEO. He helped launch the business in North America. In 2021 the company was acquired for 9 figures. Mr Batani is the co-founder of MayFair Equity Partners and is committed to providing capital and strategic support to early-stage companies.

Simon Davari is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years experience. Mr Davari's impressive career includes senior positions with SNC Lavalin, KPMG and PWC. After more than a decade in the big accounting firms and with a clear passion for entrepreneurship, Mr Davari founded SdM Tax. SdM quickly grew as a respected boutique tax firm in Canada. In 2016 SdM joined Andersen and Mr Davari now holds the position of Managing Partner at Andersen Montreal office. He also serves on the board directors of Andersen Global. Mr Davari served on the boards of multiple Non-Profit Organizations. His passion to foster and mentor entrepreneurs has brought him, in 2024, to be a founding partner at MayFair Equity Partners. Mr Davari is the proud father of 3 children and enjoys traveling the globe with his family and catching live sporting events such as the English Premier League, the ATP tour, NHL and FIFA worldcup to name a few.
